For typical rotorcrafts (helicopters), as the main rotor rotates lift occurs upwards. Helicopters move upwards as a result of this lift.

  • The body rotates and loses its balance due to the anti-torque, which denotes the reaction from the rotation of the propellers, as shown in Figure 1. Thus, it is typical to use a tail wing or coaxial rotor method in order to offset the anti-torque.The coaxial rotor method means the simultaneous backlash of two propellers as shown in Figure 1.
